We have been bringing a group of about 20 people on fishing trips for three years now. Going on our annual fishing trip while in town for our family reunion is always the biggest hit. Hope to get back for another trip before the end of this year.
I do a lot of fishing on my own in Jacksonville, but I had a great trip while in Pensacola last week. The weather was iffy in the morning so the captain put the trip off for a couple hours and sure enough that afternoon the seas were flat and we wore out the fish.
My kids absolutely love going on fishing charters in Pensacola. We have found a couple captains who we really like and always request them, but we've never been disappointed. I think the captains enjoy my kids because they have as much fun catching bait as they do going after big fish.
Always enjoy going on fishing charters with these guys! We have a condo on Pensacola Beach and make it down 6 or 8 times a year and always try to book a charter on at least half of those trips into town. I make it a point now to get a trip in October for some of the great redfish action.
We went with one of the boats at their marina for the first time last year and had an absolute blast. Someone we ended up on Pensacola Beach during the first open weekend of red snapper season, but they were able to squeeze us in. We'll definitely be back next year and we'll book in advance this trip.
I've been bringing my family to Pensacola on vacation for years and we've been fishing with this group for the past 5-6 years. We've went on both inshore and offshore trips and have always been pleased with the captains and fish we caught.
